How to Register
Because we are hosting both scholarly and public-facing events, please note that our conference has two registration forms with unique events listed on each. People interested in attending both should register for both:
1. Registration for Scholarly Conference (July 26-29)

Conference registration gives you access to all scholarly panels and plenaries plus a pre-conference walking tour designed for conference attendees, welcome ceremony and catered coffee hour, and private reception for scholars, sponsors and Eaton descendants. You will also get advance access to registration for all public events.
Early bird conference registration:
Before June 1st, regular registration is $50 ($25 for students).
After June 1st, regular registration is $100 ($50 for students).
2. Registration for public events and Chinese banquet (July 27-30)
Register and view program of public events
Several events during the conference are co-sponsored by local cultural organizations and are free and open to the public. The Chinese-style banquet is also open to the public, but not free, so we ask that you reserve your seat sooner rather than later (more info below).
We request that all conference registrants register for each public event that they plan to attend. This will give a sense of numbers and catering needs.
Registration closes for all events on July 14 at 11:30 PM MDT.
Banquet
On Friday, July 28 at 6:00 PM, we will host a Chinese-style banquet at Calgary’s Chinatown gem, the Silver Dragon Restaurant, emceed by Calgarian writer and poet Dale Lee Kwong. The multi-course banquet will include a meat option ($50+taxes/person) and a vegetarian option ($40+taxes/person). Individuals can request dietary accommodations for either option.

Travel and Accommodation
We’ve negotiated special rates for suites at Aloft University and at the University of Calgary. These special booking rates end on June 23. Find more information about booking rooms here.
Accessing the Special Collections
As most of you know, the Taylor Francis Digital Library at the University of Calgary contains the Winnifred Eaton Reeve fonds. If you would like access to these fonds before or after the conference, please get in touch with the library in advance to reserve a spot: asc@ucalgary.libanswers.com
